Assisted Living is designed for seniors who want an independent lifestyle, however may need assistance in their Activities of Daily Living. Good Samaritan believes that you should be and feel as independent as possible, at peace, knowing that your specific needs are met promptly, with dignity and safety in mind.  These needs may include, but are not limited to, daily meal prep and clean-up, laundry, dressing assistance, incontinence care, bathing, administering medications, transportation to and from pertinent appointments or group activities, and companionship.

In these economic times, you will find the cost of our assisted living may vary within a reasonable and competitive rate for the San Diego Area.

Everybody has particular needs and we do our best to provide an Individual and personal touch to the care we give to all of our residents. Residents enjoy our hand delivered mail, the personalized and patient assistance with personal hygiene routines, and our trey service for those times where a resident may not be feeling well enough to go to the dining room. These types of services are just a few of the fantastic ways we provide a family environment to our residents.

Assisted Care Services
The Good Samaritan Senior Center includes all Level I Services for every resident which makes our Senior Care Program very affordable!

Level I Services: (Available to all residents and included in their monthly lease)
Meal Service – daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including snacks
Daily housekeeping service
Weekly laundry service
On-site health services including medication management
Mail delivery
Basic Utilities
Life Alert Button

Level II Services:
All residents will be evaluated upon admission to see if Level II Care is necessary in each individual case. Level II Care includes, but isn’t limited to the care of residents who have increased functional limitations and/or psychosocial needs requiring not only personal care and supervision, but frequent assistance with activities of daily living and the active intervention in providing help for their continued and constant maintenance, in or to reach their full potential for independent living.

Level III Hospice:

Hospice  is a type of care that focuses on the palliation of a chronically illterminally ill or seriously ill patient’s pain and symptoms, and attending to their emotional and spiritual needs as they near the end of life. We, at Good Samaritan, work diligently to make all of our Hospice Residents feel comfortable, loved, and provided for at all times, with constant and complete care.
